The Namo Bharat RRTS has transformed the Delhi–Meerut commute. What once took 2–3 hours by road now takes under 60 minutes by RRTS. Here is everything you need to know before your first trip.

Boarding in Delhi

There are three stations in Delhi — Sarai Kale Khan, New Ashok Nagar, and Anand Vihar. Sarai Kale Khan is the southernmost terminus and connects to Delhi Metro's Pink Line. Anand Vihar connects to multiple Delhi Metro lines and the Anand Vihar railway terminus.

Journey Time

The full journey from Sarai Kale Khan to Modipuram takes approximately 55–60 minutes. The RRTS runs at speeds up to 180 km/h, making it the fastest surface transit system in India.

Stations En Route

The corridor has 15 stations: Sarai Kale Khan, New Ashok Nagar, Anand Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Murad Nagar, Modi Nagar South, Modi Nagar North, Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul, and Modipuram.

Connecting to Meerut Metro

Once in Meerut, you can interchange to the Meerut Metro at four stations: Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul, and Modipuram. The Meerut Metro covers the city from Meerut South to Modipuram with 13 stations.

Tips for First-Time Travellers

Arrive 10 minutes before your train. Security checks are mandatory at all RRTS stations. Keep your ticket or Smart Card ready for exit gates. Premium Coach passengers have a separate waiting area on the platform.
